Patachich Trio

Founded in 2023 and currently based in Oradea, Romania the Patachich Trio members have played their first concert together in New York City in 2010. Alumni of The Juilliard School in New York, DePaul University in Chicago and the Liszt Ferenc Academy in Budapest, they are internationally recognized artists.

Throughout their careers, they have studied, performed and worked closely together with such artists as Itzhak Perlman, Pinchas Zukermann, Shlomo Mintz, Michael Tree, James Newton Howard to name a few and in concert halls such as Carnegie Hall, Chicago Symphony Center, Berlin Philharmonic Hall, Palacio Euskalduna, and Shanghai Performing Arts Center. They have been guest artists at the Verbier Festival, Switzerland; Bowdoin International Music Festival, Maine, US; Bachakademie, Stuttgart, Germany; Musika Musica Festival and Sociedad Filarmonica de Bilbao, Spain; Night Serenades, Georgia; Kosterfestivalen, Norway and they record albums for Centaur Records and Hill and Hollow labels.

The Trio, which takes its name after 18th century Roman Catholic Bishop of Oradea and archbishop of Kalocsa, Ádám Patachich, who was a great patron of arts, balances busy performing carriers with a commitment to teaching, and serves as Trio in residence at the Summer Festival Antwerp in Belgium. Members of the Patachich Trio are also the founders of the Kaganovskiy Music Series at the Roman Catholic Bishop’s Palace in Oradea, launched in April 2022.
